Earlier, we used to just collect the waste. Now there is a scanning process and proper waste segregation. If it’s not segregated, the rating goes down, which helps us understand what to do correctly. These changes are very good for us, especially since this is being done here for the first time. The scanning and rating system is really helpful.

Each QR code is securely tied to the gate so that it cannot be removed. I have clearly instructed everyone in the ward subgroup not to remove the QR codes until the project is completed. All the people have been actively supporting and promoting this initiative. The main idea behind the QR code is to check whether waste is being properly segregated or not. In this ward, 100% segregation is being followed.
